FAQs

   FAQ #1

What is your fee?

My fee for individual therapy is $150 per session; $225 for couples.

FAQ #2

Do you take my insurance?

At this time I am in-network with the following insurance plans:

-Cigna

-Aetna

If you have a different insurance plan, you may still be able to see me by using your out of network benefits:

Clients with other insurance plans may check with the insurance company to see if you have out-of-network coverage benefits. Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. This means that you pay for services out of pocket and at the end of each month, I can provide you with a billing statement to submit to your insurer so that they can reimburse you directly. Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:

  • Do I have out-of-network mental health insurance benefits?

  • What is my deductible and has it been met?

  • How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?

  • What is the coverage amount per 45min-therapy session?

  • Is approval required from my primary care physician?

   FAQ #3

Are our sessions confidential?

Confidentiality is one of the most important components between a client and psychotherapist and you can expect that what you discuss in session will not be shared with anyone unless you authorize via written consent.

State law and professional ethics require therapists to maintain confidentiality except for the following situations:

* Suspected or reported abuse or neglect of children or elders.

* If the therapist has reason to suspect the client is seriously in danger of harming him/herself or has threatened to harm another person.
